What is LSQ?

Langue des signes québécoise (LSQ) is a complete, complex language using signs with a combination of hand movements, facial expressions and body positioning.  LSQ is used in Canada's Eastern provinces, and is more prominent in Quebec and Eastern Ontario. It is used by many deaf people as their main mode of communication.
